The car was converted by Rob Phillips Ford Main dealer , Mansfield Notts, who fitted a Ford Capri 2.8 Injection engine with a Janspeed exhaust system and a Capri 5 speed gearbox which is registered on its V5 with the DVLA. The conversion was recognised by Ford at the point of registration on 16th September 1980 and featured in the 'Fast Ford Magazine' at the Fast Ford Fair, being awarded a 'Highly commended' by the judges. A copy of the magazine is supplied with the car. The car continued to be featured in the 'Custom Ford' book from 1987. This book is also supplied with the car. The car has been kept garaged for the last 27 years covering a very low mileage. Supplied with an MOT test until August 2019
