An Impressive and Very Large Hand Built Scale Model of the Ferrari Racing Hydroplane

Depicting the famous Nando del Orto ‘unlimited’ hydroplane, powered by the 4.5-litre Ferrari engine in his speedboat supercharged and went on to win the Gran Premio Motonautico Del Vittoriale on Lake Garda in 1959. This is a finely detailed model of one of the most recognisable Ferrari 375 V12-engined racing boats that raced in Italian waters during the 1950s.Constructed by hand using stained strip Mahogany planks on deck, finished with faux painted riveted detail, the body in Ferrari red and with well detailed deck and interior, with display plinth, a most impressive 34 inches long.
