A well detailed original oil on canvas executed by Dion Pears, depicting Achille Varzi cornering his Bugatti on the Targa Florio road race. He and his co-pilot can be seen to be hanging out of the car to assist in cornering & the background features a breathtaking level of detail including a small village above a valley. Signed by the artist to the lower left corner & framed for display in a contemporary gilt frame. Approximately 100x80cm.
Please note: The canvas does feature a light tear & repaired section of approximately 2" to the left of the offside wheel of the No. 28 car.
