Lot details Registration No: BLX 12 Chassis No: 1TA Mot Expiry: May 2015
This fascinating Phantom was supplied new to H.E. Walters of London on February 13, 1935, and featured a Landaulette body by Barker on a long specification chassis. This was removed at the outbreak of WWII and replaced with an Ambulance one, so 'BLX 12' could serve in the Settle Ambulance Service. Later in the conflict it was moved to the West Riding Service before being decommissioned in the early '50s. Sometime later the current body is thought to have been fitted by a boat builder. Since the vendor acquired the Rolls in 2004, it has been engaged in wedding hire on a weekly basis. He informs us that the car is weather proof once the hood is up and the sidescreens in place. He views the bodywork, White paintwork, Red interior trim, engine and gearbox as all being in 'good' order. This vehicle is MOT'd to mid-May and taxed to July 2015.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
