A superb large scale wooden interpretation of a stylish wooden steam motor launch. The outer hull & cabin roof are finished in white, while the deck, internal fittings, boiler casing & rear tiller are all finished in miniature strips of wooden veneer. The rear is fitted out, just as you would imagine a stylish motor launch would be, including plush red velveteen upholstery, to the bench seating, surrounding a small rectangular table, with miniature steering station & wall affixed life ring. Part of the rear section is covered by a cabin, featuring 5 plastic windows, a small mast & roof lighting. The open front section features a small burner & boiler unit with chimney, which pumps steam to the servo operated miniature powerplant. This flywheel governed motor is connected to the propeller at the rear of the hull. The boat also features a large rear tiller which again is servo controlled & is connected ready for use. Offered in good visual condition, we imagine this boat could made useable with the addition of some readily available radio control gear, however mechanical & electrical condition is unknown. Approximately 3 & a half feet in length & currently presented on a grooved wooden display mount.
