MOT: Exempt
Motor Car Location: North Yorkshire
The Morris was built in 1935 and was offered in the 16hp and 20hp versions. Due to the then tax laws, the 20hp was not very popular and today there are thought to be less than ten remaining. It was taking on the higher end of the market with in-built tables and footrests for the rear passengers.
This 1935 Oxford Twenty was supplied new in January 1935 and is supplied with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate stating as such. Finished in Black and Yellow with a Beige leather interior, the car has been in current ownership since purchased from ourselves in 2018. A scarce example of the rarer 20HP, the Oxford is offered with a V5C showing three former keepers, a photograph of the car when re-discovered in 2001 before the five-year restoration, a large collection of past invoices, and some previous MOTs.
