Lot details Registration No: LNV877L Chassis No: UD1L70246BW Mot Expiry: May 2013
Arguably the purest and most desirable version of Jaguar's iconic XJ6, the Series I 4.2 Litre Short Wheelbase was in production between July 1968 and July 1973. Built to left-hand drive Federal specification on October 30th 1972, chassis 1L70246BW is understood to have had just two Californian owners prior to its repatriation during 2010. Finished in Black with Tan leather upholstery, the sports saloon is variously described by the vendor as being in "good" (bodywork, engine), "very good" (paintwork) or "patinated" (interior trim) condition. Riding on wire wheels and showing an unwarranted 11,500 miles to its odometer, this handsome Jaguar is offered for sale with JDHT certificate and MOT certificate valid until May 2013.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
