A framed/glazed presentation containing a wheel spoke, believed originally fitted to the Lancia-Ferrari D50 crashed into the harbour by Alberto Ascari during the Monaco GP of 1955. The presentation also displays a photo of the accident & Ascari. This was reputedly obtained by the vendor with 4 others from the rear wheel smashed in the accident approximately 3 years ago. The car was removed to the Paul Doumir garage in Monaco after the accident and the spokes were kept as a souvenir by Jean Passaglia; an apprentice there at the time. Approximately 35x35cm
