Purchased by the vendor's late-father in 1949 in distressed condition, 'UC 8722' has remained in the same family ownership ever since. Believed to have originally carried T1 coachwork it has been rebuilt a number of times over the years and is presently capable of starting and driving but requires further attention including work to the braking system and the fitment of a new fuel tank before being roadworthy. We are informed that renowned specialists Cedar Classic & Vintage Cars Ltd carried out an engine rebuild around a replacement block in 2009 for which assorted invoices are on file. The front seats and rear backrest have also been retrimmed. Finished in grey with red leather, this appealing Lagonda richly deserves to be returned to her former glory and is offered with Swansea V5 document, assorted invoices and sundry history.
