Suzuki revised the design of their long running GT250 model for the 1976 season, dispensing with the "Ram Air" covers. New cylinder heads were fitted to the revised engine, which now featured a four bearing crank and revised porting. The loss of the Ram Air covers resulted in cleaner styling whilst the performance benefited form the redesign, although the engine lost a little of the bottom end tractability displayed by its predecessor.
This example was purchased by the vendor in May 2000 who proceeded to carry out a full restoration during the second half of 2000. It is described as running well with excellent cosmetics, a statement supported by successes at various shows since the restoration was completed, including "Best Suzuki" at Knebworth in 2001 and "Best Japanese Runner Up" in September 2000.
It is offered with a current road fund licence, an MOT valid until September 2008 and a Swansea V5C.
