Interesting LE Velocette project for someone who wants to take on the challenge of making one good bike out of two. The grey bike is more or less complete but needs a full restoration, the black bike is part assembled with numerous engine parts in a box. There is a V5C that matches the engine number on the grey bike and there is what looks to be a homemade plate rivetted on the inside of the toolbox that matches the frame number on the document. The V5C and HPI both have the date of first registration as being 09.11.50 but the 'A' plate is from the early 60s so the original number must have been sold in the past. The black frame has an original plate in the toolbox showing frame number 200/25881 and 2 sets of crankcases in the box showing engine numbers E200/14886 and 200/26388 but unfortunately no documents.
