The Ace Brooklands model was manufactured by AC Cars in the early 1990s, prior to the company going into receivership; and again in the late 1990s/early 2000s following Alan Lubinsky's acquisition of the business. Though not fully completed and registered for road use until April 2009, this interesting righthand drive example is still essentially a 1990s Brooklands, of which only around 50 were made. It's powered by a 305bhp 5-litre quad-cam Ford V8 engine, and drives through a 5-speed T5 manual gearbox and BTR Hydratrack limited differential. The engine has covered circa 12,500 miles while the chassis has been driven a mere 1,600 miles to date. 'AE09 EVL' is finished in an eye-catching shade of Red offset by Cream interior trim, and comes complete with both a detachable hardtop and folding hood, plus MOT until May 2014 and a year's tax. According to the vendor it 'sounds fantastic and drives well'. A rare opportunity.
