Lot details Registration No: OU 1736 Chassis No: 75452 Mot Expiry: Exempt
- Purchased by our vendor in 2013 from someone who purchased it as a project in 1975
- Reportedly rejuvenated over a ten year period with it returning to the road in the mid-eighties
- A most agreeably coloured RK Saloon with which the previous owner attended many motor-club rallies all over the UK
This charming and wonderfully coloured fabric bodied Austin 7 Saloon was first registered on April 19th 1929. According to notes supplied to our vendor when he purchased it in March 2013, the car was acquired as "rough but running in 1975" by the previous owner and he proceeded to have it "restored gradually over the next ten years". An owner of several Austin 7's we believe (as is the current vendor), he states on some incredibly comprehensive and caring operation notes he passed to our vendor, that he had done many rallies in the car all over England and Scotland, including the JOGLE Rally (John o'Groats to Lands End) and rallies with the 750 Motor Club. Described by the vendor as being in "good" condition in all respects, this is a delightful little Austin 7.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
