A full size brass 'Motor Union' member's badge, reputedly dating from turn of century, numbered and named. Marked 'Manufactured by D. George Collins, 118 Newgate Street, EC' and 'The Use of this Badge is Subject to the Regulations of the Union'. Believed an original first series badge with larger detachable wings rather than later smaller 'all in one' cast wings. Together with a selection of RAC (Royal Automobile Club) and AA (Automobile Association) badges, dating from c1915 through the 1970s, including some scarce examples. Varied condition. (9)
