Moto Guzzi was established in 1921 by three friends from the Italian Air Corps and is Europes oldest motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production, based in the same factory in Mandello del Lario overlooking Lake Como ever since. Always innovative they were very successful in Grand Prix racing with products as diverse as the 350cc horizontal single that won five world championships in a row to the incredible 500c V8. After mainly producing single cylinder designs for their road bikes Guzzi launched the 750cc V7 in 1969 to satisfy the demand for larger capacity bikes and the iconic transverse shaft drive vee twin layout has now become Guzzis signature design. Whilst renowned for their large capacity four strokes Guzzi also produced a range of smaller two strokes in conjunction with Benelli, built mainly to satisfy demand on the home market, with very few being seen in the UK.

The Moto Guzzi Tuttoterreno, Italian for 'all terrain' was a result of Guzzis tie-up with Benelli during the Alejandro de Tomaso years. A very rare bike in the UK, its basically half the Benelli 250 2C twin and was also sold as the Benelli 125 Trail. This 1973 model is presented in excellent condition having undergone an extensive restoration back to original, standard condition. Registered in the UK, it comes supplied with a copy of the owners manual and current V5C.
