The David Brown Selectamatic 780 Tractor 1967. This series was in production from 1967 to 1971. Powered by a three cylinder 36hp diesel engine the transmission gave a choice of twelve forward and four reverse gears. The Selectamatic hydraulic system allowed the driver to select depth control, height control or external services on the Selectamatic dial and then control the selected system with the hydraulic lever. The Orchid White colour scheme was introduced in 1965.

This 780 Selectamatic has been in the current ownership for circa 15-20 years. and is said to be in good running order and in a restored condition. It had been the subject of a restoration in 2019, with c.£7,000 including new tyres fitted. The restoration was by a specialist in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
