Kawasaki Heavy Industries is one of the largest corporations in Japan producing a wide range of products from rolling stock to ships. After taking over the ailing Meguro Motorcycle Company they began manufacturing motorcycles under the Kawaski name in the early sixties, initially continuing development of K1 BSA A10 copy but soon moving on to build a reputation for high performance 2 stroke twins and triples. The 750 was the largest capacity of the triple range and earned a fearsome reputation in the seventies for its wild power delivery and equally wild handling.
Part of a private collection this 1975 750 H2C has undergone an authentic restoration keeping most of its original features including the 'KHI 750H2' stamped silencers and the Takasago wheel rims, it has even still got the spare spark plug holder under the seat. The bike has been stood for a number of years in a heated garage, the engine turns over with compression and the gears select but it will need a good recommissioning before use.
