Subsequently featured on the front cover of Classic Land Rover magazine (February 2017 issue), the short-wheelbase Series III is variously described by the vendor as being in ‘average’ (electrical equipment, interior trim), ‘good’ (bodywork, engine, transmission) or ‘very good’ (paintwork) condition. Displaying an unwarranted 89,000 miles to its odometer, the Hardtop rides on desirable LWB steel rims shod with 750 x 16 tyres. The 2.25-litre petrol engine features an upgraded Weber carburettor.
