The BSA Model B, was originally affectionately known as the ‘Round Tank’ and was one of the most popular motorcycles of the 1920s. It was a reliable and affordable means of transport, featuring a lightweight design, all-chain drive and a mechanical pumped oiling system, while retaining the traditional sight feed and auxiliary hand pump. In 1926, a three-speed version was introduced, followed by a redesign to a wedge-shaped tank in 1927.
This 1928 BSA De Luxe, part of the Model B series, was purchased by the current vendor over 12 years ago. It has formed part of his collection and regularly used for local events and steam rallies. In ownership, the B28 has always been maintained to a good standard and remains in excellent condition. It is offered with a current V5C and a VMCC Dating Certificate.
