Many of these models were fitted with the requisite raised handlebars, small capacity fuel tanks etc. and supplied to the North American market. Known as the 'Power Egg' for obvious reasons, The investment in these modifications will provide a useable performance motorcycle well up to standards required on today's roads.
This 1971 BSA A65 Spitfire Scrambler was purchased by the current vendor a few years ago as a complete machine needing restoration. In his ownership, it has been stripped down and all components were either restored or new where possible. He has enjoyed it since its completion, this machine is offered to the new custodian complete with a current V5C and various paperwork.
