Triumph is the largest surviving British motorcycle manufacturer but it hasn’t been an easy path for the midlands based manufacturer. The entire British bike industry collapsed in the 1970's and by the early 1980’s Triumph went into receivership. After a few years and a lot of legal wrangling, British businessman John Bloor bought the name and manufacturing rights with his “new” Triumph motorcycle company re-starting bike production in the early 1990’s. They are now re-established as one of the worlds most desirable and best selling motorcycle brands.

This no reserve 955i Daytona is part of a deceased estate and has been stood for a few years but the bike has been started and run recently. Showing only 3 owners on the registration document it is presented in very original trim, reading just under 5000 miles on the clock, including its standard Triumph exhaust can. Some recommissioning and possibly a new battery will be needed before use and it comes supplied with an aluminum paddock stand, Optimate battery charger, a couple of old MOTs, its original pre delivery check sheet, the original service book and a current V5C.
