The Honda Gold Wing is a series of touring motorcycles manufactured by Honda. Gold Wings feature a shaft drive and a flat engine. Mooted by press in September 1974 as "The world's biggest motorcycle manufacturer's first attack on the over 750cc capacity market", it was introduced at the Cologne Motorcycle Show in October 1974.

Offered here is a US specification GL 1999 K2 1977 model, manufactured Nov 1976, imported to UK in 2014. In a tidy condition throughout, and reported to be in running order, this machine has seen little use in last couple of years; it will require light recommissioning before any use. Having already having achieved classic status, Gold Wings of the 1970s are becoming increasingly sought after and ‘WGF’ represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a very presentable example.
