Jaguar introduced its re-engineered third generation XJ (X350) in 2003. A real super saloon with an aluminium body, the X350-series Jaguar XJR was powered by a 4.2 litre supercharged V8 engine allied to a new 6 speed ZF automatic transmission, said to offer better economy.
