Douglas motorcycles were manufactured between 1907–1957 in Kingswood, Bristol and were especially known for their twin-cylinder engined bikes, initially fore and aft and eventually in an across-the-frame layout.This rare Douglas D33 Greyhound was purchased by the current owner a few years ago. A rare model with not many known to the Douglas club. Some nice features with the cast ribbed aluminium sump and inlet manifold. A continuation RF60 logbook is on file from March 1947, also on file is a purchase receipt from GD Brown in Surrey from 1933. The Douglas D33 comes complete with its current V5C. Some recommissioning will be required before use.
