  • Dazzling array of many grade A original accessories
  • V5 for use on UK roads

The Lambretta TV175 Series 2 was launched in October 1959. It had an engine based on the Li150 series but with an increased capacity and the crankshaft, barrel, piston and gearbox ratio were changed. The front forks were fitted with external shock absorbers. The Rear plate and fork links were redesigned to cope with the extra power. The TV175 models were fitted with a Veglia 120 km/h speedometer face and a dual seat. The ‘Lambretta’ and ‘TV175’ side panel badges were attached to the panels with small nuts as opposed to the riveted badges on the series 2 Li panels. Often referred to as the ‘tourer’ it had a superb performance coupled with beautiful styling and has been hugely sought after for many years by collectors.

This stunning very early example was imported into the UK from Ancona in Italy in circa 2002 and registered in the UK around that time. She is completely original in Azzurro Tirreno colour with the rough sound deadening paint present as correct inside the panels and on rear mudguard. The engine and frame numbers are correct for an early TV175 Series 2 and not far apart. The original correct 23mm carburettor. The seat is the original Giuliari with a replacement cover. The ignition switch is original although missing its half moon cap. The dazzling array of original accessories are conservatively estimated at over £6000 value in todays collectors market and include: Ulma Inox side panel ‘hockey sticks’, Falbo horncast cover, Super compass wheel disc, Radyot indicators, Fabbri front bumper, Cavalli mudguard crest, Biemme headlight peak, after market exhaust with straight chrome pipe, rear flat rack, Vigano fork boots, Biemme rear reg plate surround, and a BB floor mat. All verified as original period accessories with no reproductions present. There are also a large number of priceless period waterslides on the scooter it is assumed from their patina to have been positioned on there for decades.

This scooter represents a great example of an early 1960s continental scooter style Lambretta and wants for nothing. It is very rare to come across this desirable model in such an original state of all over matching patina. She is registered for the UK roads and ready to go. Instant cool and a superb investment.
