Introduced during 1913, the basic Morris 'Bullnose' design lasted until 1926 by which time its variants accounted for an impressive forty-five percent of new car sales in the UK. Compared to domestic and foreign rivals in the 12hp-14hp market, the model offered notably good performance courtesy of its torquey, four-cylinder engines and light yet robust leaf-sprung chassis. As well as having its engine enlarged from 1548cc to 1802cc for 1923, the more expensive Oxford derivative gained a longer wheelbase and four-wheel brakes two years later.

The Morris Oxford ‘Bullnose’ Tourer offered here was delivered new on the 21st of February 1925. Currently finished in Dark Green with Black wings and a Black hood, the car also comes with a full set of weather equipment to protect the occupants and the lovely Grey leather interior from the elements. Fully restored by marque specialist The Cooke Group of Leicester, the ‘Bullnose’ was laid up until being returned to the road in 2008. Having benefitted from regular exercise and maintenance since then, the car, which is said to start, drive and handle well, has now become excess to family requirements and is ready to be enjoyed by a new custodian who will appreciate the lovely condition this ‘Bullnose’ is in. Offered at No Reserve complete with a history file containing a collection of invoices, old MOTs, the old-style brown logbook, an original owner’s manual, a workshop manual and a current V5.
