Moto Guzzi was established in 1921 by three friends from the Italian Air Corps and is Europes oldest motorcycle manufacturer in continuous production, based in the same factory in Mandello del Lario overlooking Lake Como ever since. Always innovative they were very successful in Grand Prix racing with products as diverse as the 350cc horizontal single that won five world championships in a row to the incredible 500c V8. After mainly producing single cylinder designs for their road bikes Guzzi launched the 750cc V7 in 1969 to satisfy the demand for larger capacity bikes and the iconic transverse shaft drive vee twin layout has now become Guzzis signature design. The Stornello is their entry into the popular 'Street Scrambler' market, the name taken from the competitive ISDT 125cc bike of the early 70s.

This is a limited edition bike from Moto Guzzi with only 1000 being produced and thought to be very few in the UK. Each Stornello has a laser inscribed number on the top yoke, this one being number 588/1000, and comes fitted with an Arrow Exhaust, wire wheels, brushed alloy mudguards and brushed alloy side number plates. Part of a large private collection it has been stored in a heated garage and is only showing a delivery mileage of only 7 miles, it even has all the bobbles still on the tyres! Recently fitted with a new battery, it comes with all owners and service books in place and a current V5C
