Photography by Michael Cooper and text by motoring historian, Paul Parker, foreword by Nick Mason. A superb production by luxury publishers Palawan. This book isn’t just about cars - it is also about people. Cooper wasn't merely an observer of the F1 scene of the day but became, as his reputation grew, being part of its very fabric as well as a friend to the most celebrated drivers of the day. This book brings together a decade-long body of his work - 390 photographs, many never before seen. Paul Parker's year-by-year narrative puts Cooper's pictures into the wider context of that very special decade. There were five leather-bound editions each in a different colour - Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Black. This is black edition no 1960. The book is handbound in Morocco leather and is presented in a cloth solander box. As is always the case with Palawan, production standards are very high indeed – paper, binding, printing and colour are all of the very best. Mint book in a Mint solander box; both in the original mailing box. Our photograph reference - *2
