By the mid 1930's Alvis had a fine reputation and produced some absolutely superb cars and the best had the superb 3.5 litre engine. Out of these, the models with four seat drophead coachwork were the most desirable and we are lucky enough to have one of these for you today with coachwork by Charlesworth.
This stunning example has been the subject of a full chassis-up restoration by the present owner at enormous cost and the work was carried out, in 1992, by I. Wilkinson & Sons Ltd of Derby and since then it has been maintained, regardless of cost, by the Alvis specialists Red Triangle. It has the four-speed manual transmission and is superb in every respect and before the sale we suggest you view the history file in the document office to see the extent of the work that has been carried out.
This is a very special car indeed, which would grace any serious car collection, and if you are looking for the very best in a 1930's tourer you need look no further.
Please note: The exhaust was damaged by the transport company and they accept liability. It should only need repairing, not replacing, and they shall re-imburse the new owner with the costs therein.
