Original classic light commercials don’t come much better than this
The insurance premiums of commercial vehicles are high for good reason, ie such machines are generally as abused as they are used, which makes ‘VTV 699Y’ a real rarity. Built in 1982, it is a drop-side pick-up derivative of Ford’s ubiquitous Transit, that has had just three former keepers and currently indicates a notably low but credible 19,500 miles. Finished in White with Black interior trim, it is regarded by the vendor as having ‘very good’ bodywork, paintwork, upholstery, 2.0-litre petrol engine and manual transmission, but is unquestionably in time warp original condition by comparison with most examples of the breed. It comes complete with a November 2019 invoice for £351.98 covering the supply and fitment of sundry maintenance items including: water pump, timing belt, a set of sparking plugs, replacement oil and air filters, a pair of new tyres, and a wiper blade. Original classic light commercials don’t come much better than this.
