Contents include - twelve 245 x 200mm photographs, fifteen 125 x 100mm photographs and thirty eight 175 x 125mm photographs (65 in total), featuring the 1927 attempt on the land speed record by the Sunbeam Racer from Wolverhampton, England. Shots include the arrival of the car, close ups and shots of the car preparing for the race. The Sunbeam 1000 HP was the first non-American car to run on Daytona Beach for a land speed record attempt. On 29 March 1927, Henry Segrave drove the car to a new land speed record of 203.79miles per hour (327.97 km/h) - therefore becoming the first driver to reach a speed over 200mph (320 km/h). This album was assigned the number 29 in period.
