With a strong following as a modern classic, the MG Fs and TFs featured a mid-mounted 1.6-litre or 1.8-litre engine and arguably handle better than the highly regarded Mazda MX5. The second-generation MG TF changed from the earlier car’s complex Hydragas suspension, in favour of coil springs. With the MkII's launch came a revised grille and headlights. Production was suspended in April 2005, when MG Rover collapsed but not before 39,249 MkII MG TFs were built (from 2002 onwards). A great value British classic.

Manufactured in 2004, this TF 160 was first registered in the United Kingdom on the 31st of March that year and is fitted with the desirable 1796cc straight-four K-Series engine with the five-speed manual transmission. Finished in Silver with Black cloth interior upholstery, the MG has been in current ownership since 2020 which just four former keepers. Costing some £20,200 when new, ‘YR04 CKG’ has covered approximately 83,000 miles from new. Offered with a history file which includes a large collection of invoices relating to improvement work completed and many services invoices, previous MOTs dating back to 2009, a current MOT until May 2023 with no advisories, a current V5C and two set of keys.
