Purchased by the vendor in 2010, over the next two years we are advised this late production example was treated to a painstaking restoration. Following dismantling the shell was chemically dipped and all required bodywork restoration completed using Heritage panels including inner and outer wings, front floor pans, bonnet, scuttle panel, rear floor etc. The car was then finished in gloss black and waxoyled. The engine was stripped and restored with the head being mildly ported and a Duplex chain fitted. The interior was treated to Newton commercial interior panels, premium carpets and a new headlining. Superlight 12" wheels were fitted. Having covered less than 200 miles since completion it is described as being in "excellent" condition (paintwork, bodywork, engine and transmission) with a "very good" interior. Offered with Swansea V5, restoration receipts totalling over £20,000 together with the original front seats and road wheels.
