- Delivered new to AFN Ltd Isleworth

- Race prepared to R51SS specification

- Close ratio Gearbox

- Large RS 500 factory type petrol tank

- Believed to be prepared by Jock West of AFN

- Left the factory on 15th March 1939 and delivered to AFN Isleworth factory works

- 'Spezial' stamped on crankcase means that a close ratio gearbox was fitted at the BMW factory to 'SS' specification

- 'OZ 80' stamp means high compression engine

- Matching engine and frame numbers

- Fitted with an R 69S George Meier petrol tank
