Lot details Registration No: HEJ444N Chassis No: CR66140 Mot Expiry: 10.04.2002
Launched in 1969 the Triumph TR6 was really a TR5 with a substantial face-lift. Most of the production went to America fitted with the 105bhp engines but the UK and European examples received the much better and more powerful rotary Lucas injection engine which developed 150bhp.
This particular car, which dates from 1975, is one of the last examples to leave the Triumph factory before the launch of the TR7 and the present owner has informed us that he bought it in June 1988. Since then it has been stored in a lovely and warm factory building which has obviously kept the vehicle in the lovely solid condition that we find it today. It has not been used very much in that time but has recently benefited from having new carpets, new tyres, a new battery and alternator fitted as well as having the rear brakes re-lined.
This is a very good car indeed which is ready to be used and enjoyed immediately.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
