A superb clear & frosted glass accessory mascot, as produced by Red-Ashay before the war & known as `Victoire' or `Woman's Head'. `Victoire' is one of the rarest, & probably the most-sought after of all 30 Red-Ashay accessory mascots & depicts a female head with long flailing hair. It was produced in direct competition to take on Lalique's own magnificent `Victoire', as well as Corning's smaller Mother & Daughter mascots. Regarded by many as the most beautiful glass mascot ever produced, this superb example, featuring no significant wear, chips or damage to the `head' or `hair' areas, however there is some very light chipping/wear to the square base, where the lighting mount touches. Correctly mounted to the a nickel-plated illuminating base & 9cm radiator cap. A rare & highly sought after Continental glass accessory mascot, measuring approximately 4x9 inches. Magnificent.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
