Aimed squarely at the US market the T100C provided buyers with a machine capable of providing stylish day to day transport, or with a few modifications, competing in off road events. It was endowed with a distinctive high level exhaust system, sump guard and a small, five and a half inch headlamp. Options offered by the factory included the provision of trials universal tyres in place of the standard Dunlop K70's. Although, by 1969, when the example offered was produced, lightweight two strokes were beginning to dominate the off road US racing world, the T100C continued to sell well thanks to its rugged good looks and the model is today highly sought after.
The example offered was first registered in the UK during 2004, having been repatriated from the States, at which time it had recorded only 225 miles on the odometer, a figure that has now increased to 429. The machine is, according to the vendor, a 100% original, as new condition. The bike won Best in Class at the 2010 Footman James NEC Show and was invited to the Stafford Show as result, confirming its excellent condition. It is offered today with a Swansea V5C and is currently on Sorn.
