Lot details

Registration No: T.B.C
Chassis No: WDB1714732F092105
MOT: November 2021

Motor Car Location: Cheshire

  • Only 56,125 miles (atoc) from new
  • Just three former keepers and current ownership since 2019
  • Service history almost solely from Mercedes-Benz main dealer and a specialist
  • Well specified example
  • Unquestionably a modern classic, well renowned for its ‘pocket-rocket’

The SLK 55 AMG was launched in 2004, powered by a naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V8, producing 355bhp and driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifts. Car & Driver Magazine reported a 0-60mph time in 4.3 seconds. The SL55 featured the AMG bodykit, 18in alloy wheels, lowered suspension and quad exhausts as standard. Desirable options included a Harman Kardon stereo and Airscarf neck heating. While keenly priced at £51,975 when new, its ability to deliver two cars in one – it’s both a laidback and cosseting coupe and a blood-spitting hairy-chested roadster – it was widely renowned as a highly engaging machine.

This SLK55 AMG was manufactured in 2005 and was first registered in the United Kingdom on the 8th of October 2005. Fitted with the 5439cc V8 engine with the seven-speed 7G-Tronic AMG Speedshift automatic transmission, the Mercedes-Benz is finished in Bright Silver Metallic with Black leather interior upholstery. The AMG has covered just 56,125 miles (at time of consignment) and has had only three former keepers from new, with the Mercedes-Benz entering into current ownership since 2019.

Well specified from new with ParkTronic system, electric seats with memory package, airscalf system, air-conditioning, bi-xenon headlamps, high capacity battery, CD-changer and interior light assembly. The SLK55 AMG is offered with stamped service book displaying nine service records, eight of which from Mercedes-Benz main dealer and a specialist, with the most recent service being completed in December 2020 at 52,478 miles by Nick Webster Mercedes specialists.

PLEASE NOTE: The registration number (P100 BDM) shown in the images is not included in the sale.
