We are indebted to the Vendor for the following information:

"This was purchased as an abandoned restoration project 2 years ago, it returned home in boxes of bits, many missing (as I found out) some parts in good order, some not so. I have slowly worked through assembling this car and what was expected to be a six-month project is still not completely finished due to various health issues nearly 2 years later.

The car runs really well, goes like a little rocket and stops well too! Virtually every mechanical / electrical part is either brand new or professionally refurbished. From the galvanised chassis and then powder-coated and filled with rust-proofer (came like this) All new braking system, clutch system, starter, dynamator (alternator) brand new wiring loom from Autosparks and battery cables. Every light unit/switch/nut/bolt is brand new. Engine and gearbox are both reconditioned units supplied via Joe Mason with full synchro on the gearbox, Performance inlet manifold and performance 4 into 1 exhaust. It's very quick with a roary exhaust note. Wheels all refurbished with new quality tyres, all new suspension units and bushes everywhere. New radiator with electric thermostatic fan to ensure no overheating. All brand new interior trim with storage area trimmed out as is the boot. New side-screens supplied but not fitted. If you can think of a part it is probably either brand new, NOS or professionally refurbished. Some works were done by the previous owner so not everything is done to a standard I would have expected.

It also comes with a high quality expensive outdoor car cover.

2020 is the 50th anniversary year of the Bond Bug and this example is eligible for Historic Tax and MOT exemption."
