Chassis No: SCAZW02D8NCX80011
Mot Expiry: March 2015

Flagship of the contemporary Rolls-Royce range, the Silver Spur III Touring Limousine rode on a generous 148.5-inch wheelbase (some twenty-eight inches longer than that of its lesser Silver Spirit III sibling). Powered by a revised 6750cc V8 engine allied to four-speed automatic transmission, the model could be specified with a bewildering range of options. Reportedly consigned to the 1993 Geneva Motor Show via Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (Switzerland), this particular example was first owned by a Greek shipping magnate who later had it professionally (and very expensively) converted to right-hand drive. Subsequently taken in part-exchange against a new Phantom by HR Owen, their accompanying workshop report notes that the reconfiguration was to a `high spec'. Understood to have been well maintained by main dealers and marque specialists and to have covered just 33,600 miles, the four/six-seater has been in the current ownership since 2008 during which time it has been looked after by a Bentley main dealer and marque specialist RR&B Garages. Entrusted to the latter for a recent service and MOT test, the Silver Spur is described by the vendor's agent as being in `very good' condition with regard to its engine, automatic transmission, electrical equipment, interior trim, bodywork and paintwork. Trimmed with Parchment leather upholstery and matching Wilton carpets, the sumptuous interior also features a moon roof, cocktail cabinet (minus its cut glass), drinks cooler, upgraded (digital) TV, i-Pod connectivity and Charcoal lambswool over rugs etc. Currently undergoing a cherished number plate transfer, this imposing Touring Limousine is worthy of close inspection and benefits from an extensive history file (including MOT certificate valid until March 2015).
