Triumph is one of the most iconic and revered names in the history of motorcycling. Established in Coventry in 1885, by the start of the 1900s the company had made their first motorcycle beginning a continuous run of production under various ownership until its eventual closure in 1983. The Tiger Cub 200cc single was one of their more popular models and was many future enthusiasts first taste of motorcycling. A bike that has become very popular to convert into a pre-1965 Trials bike, not many have survived in standard trim.
This early 1960s Cub is the later semi bathtub model with the nacelle headlamp, a good looking bike in its black and silver finish with classic Triumph mouth organ tank badges. It is offered in good authentically restored condition and is fitted with a more modern Mikuni style carb. Not used for a while it may require some recommissioning and comes supplied with a current V5C.
