Lot details Registration No: UCF629S Chassis No: 2F1285BW Mot Expiry: May 2014
The Double Six was by far the rarest of Jaguar's chic XJ two-door Coupe range, of which just 407 examples were produced between 1974 and 1978. This home market, right-hand drive example is finished in Squadron Blue and trimmed in contrasting Beige leather. The vendor informs us that it comes with details of all ownership since 1990, an extensive service history and file containing invoices, sales brochures etc. He also tells us that the indicated mileage of just 49,373 is correct. He describes the pillarless bodywork, paintwork, 5.3-litre V12 engine and automatic gearbox as all being in "good overall" order, as well as what is apparently the original interior trim. This rare Daimler is on the button and MOT'd for 12 months.
PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle has an MOT until May 2014.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
