Lot details Registration No: GDA530V Chassis No: V8CDR15147 Mot Expiry: T.B.A.
The Aston Martin people had lots of courage but were obviously short of ideas for new names when they produced the convertible version of the V8 eleven years after the body style was first seen. It used the standard power train, that means it was a non Vantage car, and came with the power operated hood, air conditioning and leather trim and they are still one of the ultimate 'pose' mobiles.
This particular example has been entered from a significant collection of cars in the Midlands but has been unused recently due to the death of the vendor's father. It is described as being in very good condition throughout and the odometer reading of 24,000 miles is believed to be correct from new and it has the preferred automatic three speed gearbox and is finished in probably the best colour scheme for this model with the red coachwork and cream interior.
These are a rare sight on today's roads and are extremely sought after and this particular example we are sure will create a lot of interest at today's sale.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
