Registration No: K559 KNP
Chassis No: W0L000085N9029670
MOT: March 2022
Motor Car Location: Nottinghamshire
The Calibra introduced in 1989, received a more potent motor, gained four-wheel drive and a significant 54bhp boost – courtesy of a newly added turbocharger – in 1992. This made the top-rung Calibra capable of sprinting from zero to 62mph in six seconds and on to a top speed of 152mph when new. Boasting a low-lag C20LET engine and six-speed Getrag F28/6 transmission, the Calibra Turbo was revered for the smooth nature of its acceleration, relatively unimpeded by the lag that dogged many a turbo-four of its era.
‘K559 KNP’ was manufactured in 1992 and first UK registered in August the same year, making it an early example of the 4x4 Turbo. Understood to have only had a total of four owners, the Calibra is finished in its original colour of White with complimentary Grey leather trim. Having covered 50,817 miles, the Calibra has only done approximately 1,000 miles in the last 10 years. Offered with two sets of keys, and a collection of past MOT certificates, the Calibra has also been freshly serviced in March 2021 with new oil sump and rocker cover seals and provided with an MOT certificate until March 2022. The V5 is unfortunately not present and the new keeper will need to apply.
A rare and desirable model with low mileage and few owners.
