H&H are indebted to the vendor for the following description:
A Mini Italian Job special edition in red (other colours among the 1000 vehicles produced were white, blue, and British Racing Green), with black bonnet stripes to represent the leather bonnet straps on the film cars. Original white grille, white Minilite wheels, two driving lamps at front. Special decals and bonnet badge consisting of an English and Italian flag crossed with “The Italian Job” in white. Bucket seats. Interior upholstery and equipment based on the Cooper but with small Italian flags on front seats and stearing wheel. Considering the car is nearly 30 years old the bodywork, engine, electrics, paintwork, gearbox/transmission and interior trim can be rated “Very Good”.
Bought by current owner in 2003 when recorded mileage was 19,439. Wax injection carried out before delivery - sills, doors etc. The previous owner is reported to have bought the car in 1993 when it was only a few months old. Serviced and MOT’d every year, garaged when not in use on road. Current MOT runs to 22.07.21. Full history available. This is a lovingly-tended, very low mileage Mini that is seeking a new and appreciative owner who will enjoy all it has to offer.
