Triumph is one of the most iconic and revered names in the history of motorcycling. Established in Coventry in 1885, by the start of the 1900s the company had made their first motorcycle beginning a continuous run of production under various ownership until its eventual closure in 1983. In 1937 the Edward Turner designed Speed Twin was released launching a range of Triumph twins that went on to epitomize British motorcycles in the post-war years. Many believe the T120 Bonneville, first seen in late 1958, to be the ultimate version of the classic British vertical twin and is now one of the most sought-after bikes of the era.

This fully restored example was manufactured in late 1959 under job number 3757 and was then exported to Baltimore where it has spent most of its life. Whilst made in 1959 it is actually a 1960 specification model with the twin downtube frame and more sporty styling that became the classic 'Bonnie' layout and is fitted with the correct 120 MPH speedo and 10000 RPM tacho together with a Lucas competition mag all finished in pale blue and silver, this bike is an excellent example of a British legend. The bike has seen regular use by its enthusiast owner for rides out to local bike clubs and vintage runs and comes supplied with a current V5C and a dating certificate.
