Awarded to the Teesdale Car Company of Barnard Castle to commemorate 'Twenty Five Years of Association with the Austin Motor Company Ltd'. Large circular bronze disk is mounted to a solid wooden base. Intricate detailing shows Hermes the Greek God as the herald and guardian of the roads and their commerce. The famous 'winged wheel' emblem of Austin Cars is also cleary visable below Hermes. Smaller plaque to rear. Very good condition and exceptionally well made. 47 cm
