Introduced during 1964 the CB160 was arguably the finest of Honda's small twin cylinder machines offering good performance and braking and, thanks to a new tubular steel frame, good handling. Testers noted that the engine, although capable of 10,000 rpm and delivering 16 bhp was more flexible in use than its predecessors and complimented the machine on its quality and civility.
The example offered is finished in the traditional black and silver livery and presented to a good standard throughout. It is described as running well and displays only 10,698 miles on the odometer. Resident in a private Dutch collection until recently it is offered with the paperwork necessary to obtain a UK registration number.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
