First registered to confectioners Rogalls Ltd of Leeds on May 19th 1949, `MUB 508' thereafter belonged to S. Wolfe & Sons of Leeds, B.J. Hunter Ltd of Cricklewood, Enrico Rivolta of Harlesden, William Wight of Hampton Court and Bernard Platt of East Molesley. Purchased by the latter on 22nd September 1960, the 2000 would remain in his care for much of its life. A stalwart member of the Triumph Roadster Club, Mr Platt displayed `MUB 508' at numerous rallies and concours d'elegance up until the 1990s. Fitted with a Stanpart replacement engine in period but otherwise highly original, the 2+2-seater has never been restored. Carefully conserved during the current family ownership, `MUB 508' is accompanied by its original buff logbook(s), 1960 sales invoice and sundry paperwork.
