Lot details Registration No: A7 KKA Chassis No: SAJJNAEC7CA157844 Mot Expiry: None
The historic association between the Jaguar and Lister names was reignited in 1986 by WP Automotive of Leatherhead, under the guidance of Laurence Pearce. From this reincarnation came the muscular, modified XJSs of which, according to the vendor, 'A7 KKA' is the only 4.0-litre example to be given the Lister treatment in 1989, at a cost of £27,880. The Jaguar's first owner was apparently Jack Walker of Blackburn Rovers Football Club fame. Accompanying invoices show some welding to the floor and sills has been carried out in more recent years, but the Jaguar still needs restoration to the body, Black paintwork and Black interior trim etc, in order to return it to its former glory. We understand that all parts are believed to be present apart from the carpet, and that the six-cylinder engine and five-speed manual gearbox are both in working order. An ideal project for the year ahead.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
